Privacy notice

This explains what we do with your information when you use the calculators on this site. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Last updated 21/10/2026.

The short version

You can use every calculator on this site without telling us anything. The figures you type stay in your own browser and are never sent to us. We only receive your details if you contact us yourself: by email, by phone, or by booking a free call. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which calculators are used.

Who we are

If you want to ask us anything about this notice, email [email protected] or call 01302 613515.

This notice covers businesstaxcalculator.co.uk only. Our main site at luvero.uk has its own notice, which covers enquiries, introductory call bookings and client work.

Using the calculators

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The profit, salary and dividend figures you enter are not sent to us and not saved by us. Some calculators add your main figures to the page address so you can share a link to your result. Google Analytics records the address of each page you visit, so those figures may be included in the visit data Google holds for us. That data does not include your name or email address.

If you contact us

The calculators do not have a contact form. If you email or call us, we receive what you choose to send or tell us. The "Book a free 30-minute call" button opens our booking page on Calendly in a new tab. Booking there is covered by our main privacy notice at luvero.uk/privacy.

The figures you entered in a calculator are not sent to us. The Save as PDF button is a browser print and never reaches us either.

Why we are allowed to hold it

  • To reply to you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have contacted us and we need your details to answer.

We do not sell your information, we do not share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

Who else sees it

We use suppliers to run this website, store our records and send our email. Google provides Google Analytics, which records how visitors use the site. These suppliers process information on our instructions and cannot use it for their own purposes. We will disclose information to someone else only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

These periods match the ones in our main privacy notice at luvero.uk.

  • If you contacted us and did not go on to become a client, we delete your details 12 months afterwards.
  • If you go on to become a client, your information moves onto our client records. We keep those for the length of the engagement and for 7 years afterwards, and anti-money laundering verification records for 5 years after the relationship ends, because the law requires it.

Cookies

This site uses the cookies it needs to work and to stay secure, and Google Analytics cookies that help us understand how the calculators are used: _ga, which distinguishes visitors and lasts 2 years, and _ga_5BW8JRJEJH, which keeps the session state and lasts 2 years. You can block or delete these in your browser settings. The site does not use marketing pixels or advertising cookies, and it does not follow you across other websites. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for the font file, including your IP address. The "Book a free 30-minute call" button opens Calendly in a new tab. It is not embedded on this site and sets no cookies here.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, and object to us using it. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change this notice we will change the date at the top. The version you are reading is the one that applies to you.
