This is information, not advice

The calculators give general information about how UK tax works. They are not tax advice, accountancy advice, legal advice or financial advice, and nothing on this site is a personal recommendation to you or to anyone else.

No calculator here knows your circumstances. It works only from the handful of figures you type in, under the assumptions printed on each page. Real tax positions turn on facts the tools never ask about, and a figure that is right in general can be wrong for you.

Using this site does not make us your accountant

No client relationship is created by using this site, by reading anything on it, or by giving us your email address. We take on clients only under a signed engagement letter that sets out what we are doing and what we are responsible for. Until that exists, we owe you no duty of care in respect of your tax affairs.

Do not rely on it on its own

Please do not make a decision, file a return, declare a dividend, set a salary or commit money on the strength of a figure from this site alone. Check your position with your own accountant or adviser first. If you do not have one, speak to us or to someone else properly qualified before you act.

Accuracy

We take care to keep the rates and thresholds correct, we check them against GOV.UK, and each page shows the date of the last check. Even so, we do not promise that the site is accurate, complete or up to date. Tax rules change, sometimes in the middle of a year and sometimes with retrospective effect, and there may be errors. The published legislation and HMRC guidance always take precedence over anything here.

Our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything it produces, including any tax, interest or penalty. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Availability

We provide the site free of charge and give no promise that it will be available, uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.

What you may do with it

Use the calculators for your own business or personal purposes, and print or save your results as often as you like. The content, design and code belong to Luvero Accounting Ltd. Please do not copy, republish or embed them elsewhere, or present the results as anyone else's work, without asking us first. Do not attempt to interfere with the site or to misuse it.
